I started a new class every Wednesday at Quilts Bayou in Lake Charles, Louisiana and it's Sylvia's Bridal Sampler. The first class was alot of fun. Loved getting together and sewing our 1st blocks. I'm using Robyn Pandolph's, "Beach House" fabric.
My husband gave me these beautiful flowers and card for Valentine's so I made him a chocolate pie. Not good for the diet but he loved it and I love my thoughtful husband.
Being from Louisiana I just have to brag. Our New Orleans Saint's won the SUPER BOWL! This was the headlines in our newspaper this morning and you can barely see him but it's my husband sitting on top of the coffee table so he could be as close as he could be to see the last of the game. He is so funny to watch during a game. Gotta love him.
It was my niece's Katelyn & Kaley's birthday in January but we were unable to celebrate until yesterday. All my beautiful girls including my daughter Brittany. Hey I just have to brag on them!

Will start sewing it together today whenever I get off this computer. I love all the bright fabrics. It's called Meadowsweet.
I bought this pattern from Bonnie Blue Quilts in 2007 and I'm just getting to it. It's called, "My Old Kentucky Home". I am determined to get things done that I have stored! I need 56 of these blocks and I only have 7 done. My embroidery blocks are free designs from gailpandesigns.typepad.com. She gave out free designs last year and I'm not throught with mine yet. Slowly but surely I will get these finished.
