On January 7, 2011 I lost my baby brother. We were 20 years apart and I felt like he was as much my child as my own. Steven Carlton as I called him when he was in trouble was very handsome to me. Loved his smile. I miss him so much tonight and can't believe he's gone. I will miss you little boy (that's what I would call him when I saw him). What I wouldn't give for a hug now. Love you. Steven Carlton Savant. You will always be my "baby brother."

Her 92nd Birthday

My grandmother, Viola Savant Bushnell's birthday was the 26th. We celebrated it Saturday at my Uncle Wade Savant's shop with a "Savant" BBQ. Uncle Tyrone Savant BBQ'd pork steaks with the best Savant BBQ sauce (I think so anyway). These are pictures of her, she still gets along great. In the top picture is her with her brother's. There were 13 children in her family. She has 3 other sisters living. Love her, she is precious to me.Sunday, April 4, 2010

Who Dat!

Being from Louisiana I just have to brag. Our New Orleans Saint's won the SUPER BOWL! This was the headlines in our newspaper this morning and you can barely see him but it's my husband sitting on top of the coffee table so he could be as close as he could be to see the last of the game. He is so funny to watch during a game. Gotta love him.Monday, November 9, 2009
New Member to the Farm

My husband Tresmer has a small goat herd and this is one of the new babies. My daughter's dog Jacque didn't know what to think about this.
The Bushnell Reunion

This was my grandmother Viola Bushnell Savant's family reunion. My grandmother is the 1st one to your right. Out of 13 children there are 10 children left. My grandmother is the oldest at 91. All of these people have special places in my heart. What a great family to have.
