I knew my knees couldn't stand crawling around on the floor sandwiching this quilt together so I brought out my Quilters Floor Frame that I had forever ( when I thought I wanted to hand quilt). I used my Quilt Tack gun and it all worked great. However, I know why I pay for someone to quilt my quilts :)

I love the quilt for Patty. It is really pretty. You need to share tip one and email me tip 2. Good idea to use the frame and I agree with you about having my quilts quilted for me. If I had a long/medium arm with a quilting table it would be different, but I don't like having to squeeze fabric through a regular sewing machine. It is hard on the body.
That's pretty interesting with the tacking gun...what does it tack with - small pieces of plastic? How do you get them out while quilting?
