Design Wall Monday

I finished my March, "Granny Squares" Sunday morning.  Will pick up my April one's from Quilts Bayou this week.  I love how these squares come out.  It's probably because they pick all the colors and I don't have to :).  Now let me go see what else I can get done today.

Very rich and warm colours...I like how each block looks so different.

Those are my kind of fabrics in the Granny Square blocks.

I LOVE these. I've wanted to make them but I have so many irons already in the fire.

I have tried these squares but they turned out all "stretchy" and not square. How did you do it?? They are so pretty.

Beautiful Granny Squares! That one is on my quilting to do list too.

Vicki I just follow the instructions in the magazine exactly as they have them and make sure I have a true 1/4" seam. So far no trouble with stretching. (I also use a dry iron and be careful when ironing the edge of the squares).
