We went to Pigeon Forge TN, Gatlingburg, TN and Asheville, NC. It was beautiful! My husband even stopped at 2 quilt shops along the way. My 1st stop was at, "Mountain Stitches by Susan" in Gatlinburg and the next one was at, "Quilters Quarters" in Waynesville, NC. Both shops were great and the ladies were so nice and helpful. We went on to Asheville so I could see the Biltmore. So glad we took the time to go there it was wonderful seeing the Biltmore Estate and staying at the Biltmore Inn. We went by ourselves this trip and we enjoyed it very much.

Oh those are beautiful! What a great hubby to stop at two quilt shops. My husband doesn't even try to avoid them....just give me directions, he says.
Your trip sounds grand! We just returned from our first cruise (to Alaska) and, from now on, I'll take a road trip ANY time! Have fun with all that great quilt shop bounty!!
